Homework PolicyIf a homework assignment(s) is incomplete, students will be required to finish the assignment(s) for homework the following night. A notice will be attached to the assignment that requires a parent/guardian signature- to make parents/guardians aware of the incomplete assignment(s). Students will receive half credit for late homework assignments. Since homework assignments are used as tools to review recently learned skills, it is important students complete all homework each day it is assigned.
|
Test CorrectionsIn the event that a student does not receive a passing grade on a quiz or test in any subject area (a 70% or greater), he/she is given the opportunity to make "test corrections." Test corrections are made at school. Students will receive half credit for every correction made. A "Test Correction" notice will be attached to the test (with original and corrected grades) that requires a parent/guardian signature. Please make every effort to return a signed notice to school ASAP!

When you are absent...If your child is absent, he/she is expected to make up all assignments and/or tests given on that day. If you are able to, please contact me, Mrs. K. Waite, on the day of the absence, and we can arrange for work to be sent home that day, rather than waiting until your child returns to school and risking him/her getting too far behind. If this is not an option for you, your child will make-up work during available times upon returning to school.
